How Dangerous Is Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang
Jan 28th, 2008 by Jet Set
It sure has been quiet. According to most reports Rae has not repped a word about his renegade clan album on tour. What kind of signs are these. Just like doing a tour while not doing the album it is a promo for. With a special touch of playing all your classic songs which were produced by the man you slandered in the media.
Scratch of the Scritach & Scatch blog recently posted an interesting piece about this forthcoming cd. Making some points that I wanted to touch in a long time. The terrible artwork of some of the latest Wu cd’s, which has to be top notch for this new one. And the vision that Rae lacks on albums production wise.
And yeah, what the fuck is up with rappers still not doing sound checks. It will boost shows pretty good. Just like making a decent show of performing, not just showing up.

First off let me start by saying that if this album does happen, they wont be able to release it under the “wu tang clan” name. Rza owns the wu tang name, and I heard him say in an interview, that a wu tang album can never happen without him. Secondly, I think Rza is alot smarter than Raekwon, and I can guarantee Rza has some shit up his sleeve in preperation for if and when this happens.
its all good but i anit never going seem them live agin wait more then 3 hours there were late i say fuck i here them come on and the fuck head bouncer would not let me in
and whats up with them selling 8 d tees but no rapen it fuck it
wu-tang for life but they done lost me my money when it comes to seeing them
and they even call it 8 Diagrams Tour.
There are many ways that this scenario can play out. If Raekwon was to approach RZA with a cooperative plan where it will be handled like the 50 vs. Kanye face off then it can prove to be successful. And he really needs to strike while the iron is hot. Rae could simply outsource the production for his punch-you-in-the-face music and have RZA mix all the tracks. Simply do it with his blessing but still call the CD Wu-Tang versus Shaolin. It’s more than obvious there’s inside competition and tension. Why not record another Chef vs Mef II? There are many possibilities but they really should hop on it between tour dates. A cooperative effort should really start now, while Rae has band members ears.
Peace and thanks for the shout out,

^derek, unfortunately I really do not think that rappers make it their personal responsibility to show up on time for tour dates, radio interviews, etc. And their many of them really are not appreciative or simply have a bad attitude. I may purchase their CD (OR DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE!!!) but pay $50+ to see them show up 3 hours late?!? That’s a no-no!!
And they won’t do that for a national televised performance because they know that the entertainment industry will shut them down.
Yup, that real proffesionalism is still not there. And that’s why other artists are where they are right now. They show up on time, and deliver.
It may be a hassle, but that’s how you get there.
yea I NO THINGS happen but i mean slick rick red man wu-tang .
i wait mad time to see them live but after showing time there late bullt shit you know didnt even let the crowed no why even if they did that abroly want back to bull shiting in the crowed and spiting.
but just put a bad taste in my mouth.
