U-God Delivers ‘Venom,’ Announces New Album | Billboard

U-God has a lot to get off his chest. After reportedly suing his rap crew Wu-Tang Clan in a $2.5 million lawsuit for unpaid royalties in November, the MC decided to use the booth as his refuge and release his new record, “Venom.”

Here, he puts on a lyrical showcase and lets his bars do the talking. “We goin’ through hell, we tryna get it right,” he says about his “brothers” at the the top of the track before spitting, “Bust through by any means/Squeeze on my enemies/Then escape to the Phillippines/Watch out for this guillotine.”
